The Town of Oakland is currently looking for individuals to join our Planning Committee.  This would be for the term starting January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. The Planning Committee meets on the First Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.  Since they meet only when a Town of Oakland Resident has Zoning issues to be addressed, there could be months where no meeting is held.  There is a $50.00 stipend for attending these meetings.  If you are interested please reach out to the Town Clerk to submit a letter of interest by December 1, 2025.
