The Lake Ripley Management District seeks to preserve and enhance Lake Ripley’s water quality, its fish and wildlife communities and its overall ecological health, while ensuring public access and use of the lake that is safe fair and practical.
The District is a separate entity from the town and is funded by a special charge on the tax bills of those residents that reside in it. A full-time Lake Manager is charged with carrying out the directives of the LRMD Board, including the implementation of all lake protection and improvement programs.
Monday – Friday 9am – to 4pm
The office may close at times due to lake manager being in the preserve, monitoring the inlet or lake, or otherwise be managing off-site. Feel free to call ahead before making the trip. We are housed in the Town of Oakland Town Hall, N4450 County Road A, Cambridge.
Thank you for looking out for our lake and the creatures we share it with.
