Mission Statement
The mission of the Town of Oakland Police Department is to protect life, liberty, and property while respecting the right and dignity of every individual. We are committed to upholding the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin, the ordinances of the Town of Oakland, and the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics.
Through ethical decision making, accountability, and professionalism, we ensure that our statutory and constitutional responsibilities are faithfully administered. We strive to serve our community with integrity, transparency, and excellence, building trust and credibility in all actions and decisions.
Goals and Objectives
The members of the Town of Oakland Police Department are committed to the following core values, which guide conduct, decision making, and interactions with the community.

NOTE: If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911. For non-emergencies, call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch. They will dispatch a Town of Oakland Officer if one is on duty. They will dispatch a Sheriff’s deputy if there is no Town of Oakland Officer on duty at the time of the call.
